I am so excited to post my first picture of our sweet baby Laney! Not the first picture taken of her of course, just the first to edit and post! My dear amazing and talented friend Leah Davis took her newborn pictures so that I didnt have to stand on my head to get my kids and mostly my husband to cooperate! As soon as she posts them, I will post the link! We are loving this baby girl SO much! And as you can tell she is getting TOO BIG, too fast! This was just a simple snapshot after church in her Christmas dress...sissy had a matching one but didnt feel well, so I hope to add that later! Merry Christmas everyone!!

This is why I LOVE LOVE my camera!! It makes me so giddy to be able to
catch such a precious expression as he adoringly smiles at his grandma!!

True candid family moments are also one of my favorites to capture...

My maternity leave is going to be so hard on me!

I will just have to go crazy with my new little one to keep my photographer heart happy!!

(PS...I will not be doing any fall photos this year, I know I have already disappointed many of you... But, I am going to have my 4th baby, another GIRL, the first week of November, or sooner I hope!! So, after a lot of thought and realization that my body just isn't as young and spry as it used to be...hehe...I am going to enjoy this holiday season with my family and my new little one!! I will still be posting pics of my kids,

as well as all the backup work I still have waiting for me on my external hard drives!!

As I moan and whine about the usual discomforts of being pregnant, this scripture reminds me of my true heart and my desires...I am so blessed and so thankful for my precious children and the little girl that will soon be here!! I am so thankful that the Lord has truly blessed me over and over again with this ultimate desire of my heart!!

My very patient sister has been waiting for these pics since the end of December...I am so grateful for her patience and understanding!! This was the only way she got through the contractions at one point...somehow it made her focus! Such a loving and kind husband! She looked miserable! But was so amazingly strong and brave!
She focused so well and labored so quickly
(after trying to be induced and got sent home and then went back again a few hours later)!
It was incredible!

He weighed 7lbs 1oz

She is getting so old! She will be a year old in march, and I dont even know how that happened! I am comitting myself this year to really focus more on my kids overall, but even more so, make their photo sessions number one....they are always last on the list...so here was my attempt today with the only 20min she would give me! She is such a joy!

My sweet little girl! Finally, I got some edited....after numerous attempts with my boys and Steve. Each time was a photographers nightmare! Either baby was screaming, Daddy was frustrated, boys were pouting and uncooperative, or I just wasn't fast enough to be the mom, wife, and photographer all at once. Remind me to hire someone next time!!!! Then, Aisley got a newborn rash after the 2nd week and STILL has it! So, someday more pictures will come! :) She is the sweetest litttle addition to our family! We all love her so much! oh and...I cant believe I forgot to mention the DRAMA with her first photo shoot at my mom's house...I am pretty sure she peed or pooped at least 15 times on EVERYTHING!! Doesn't she know who her mother is???? But don't worry it didn't stop me! Sadly this is the best shot I got of the three of them...

She has smiled constantly from day one almost everytime she slept!

She is already 11lbs! I can't believe how time flies!! After all the screaming and pooping, she finally fell asleep into a deep sleep for this picture to happen!! This is my newest prop! I love it!

For my birthday and Christmas this year, my sweet and overly generous husband bought me a new CAMERA and LENS!!!

Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8G ED lens!!!!

They are so amazing that I am soooo nervous to use them! I can't believe I am so lucky to have such a wonderful husband, camera, and this SWEET boy who got to be my first mini session!!!

This is called a "folky" color...kind of different and not sure if I like it, but I love the edging.
